The paperwork
Privacy Policy
We are not in the data business. We are in the knocking-over-a-shelf business. This page is short because there is very little to tell you.
Last updated 5 August 2026
The short version
This website runs no analytics unless you say yes, and contains no advertising networks either way. We ask once, in a small card in the corner. If you decline — or simply ignore it — nothing is loaded from Google, no cookies are set, and we learn nothing about you.
If you do say yes, we use Google Analytics to count visits. That is the whole of it: no profile, no advertising, nothing sold. You can change your mind at any time, on this page, in one click.
Who is responsible
Lucky Dreamer LLC (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for this website and for Wreckimals: Chaos on the Loose. You can reach us about anything on this page at privacy@wreckimals.com.
What this website collects
By default, nothing. The site is a set of static files. There is no login, no profile and no session.
Two things are stored on your own device, by your browser, and never sent to us:
- whether you switched the page’s sound on, so it stays that way if you come back;
- your answer to the analytics question, so we do not ask you again.
Clearing your browser’s site data removes both. They are preferences, not a profile, and they cannot identify you.
Analytics, if you allow it
We would like to know roughly how many people visit — that is the entire ambition. For that we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, and only after you choose “Allow”. Until then, and forever if you decline, no request is made to Google and no Google cookie is set.
- Lawful basis: your consent. You give it deliberately and can withdraw it below at any time, with no consequence to how the site works.
- What it collects if enabled: Google sets first-party cookies (
_gaand similar) holding a random identifier, and records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, referrer, and general device and browser information. We switch on IP anonymisation. - What we do not do: we do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or share this data. We never see your name or email through analytics.
- Transfers: Google may process this data outside the EEA under its own safeguards. This is the main reason the choice is yours to make rather than ours to assume.
- Retention: Google retains the event data according to our property’s setting, after which it is deleted on their side.
Google’s own explanation of how it handles this data is in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can also block it globally with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Your current choice
You have not been asked yet on this device, so analytics is off.
Turning it off stops the tag loading on your next page view and leaves any Google cookies to expire. To remove them now, clear this site’s data in your browser.
Hosting logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs — including IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser user-agent — for a limited period, in order to serve the site, keep it available and defend it against abuse. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you and we do not combine them with anything else. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
The launch list
If you give us your email address to be told when the game is out, we store that address, and only that address, for that purpose.
- Lawful basis: your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.
- Use: to send you a message when Wreckimals is playable, plus any genuinely necessary correction to that message. We do not run a newsletter.
- Sharing: the address is held by the email delivery provider we use to send that message. It is not sold, rented, traded or shared for anyone else’s marketing, ever.
- Retention: until launch has been announced, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. Every message we send includes a one-click unsubscribe.
The game itself
Wreckimals: Chaos on the Loose is designed to need nothing from you. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics. Your progress and your sound preference are saved by your browser on your own device and are not transmitted to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the game, or clearing the site data, deletes them.
If a future version ever adds anything that changes this — leaderboards, purchases, cloud saves — we will update this page before that version ships, not after.
Your rights
Where the GDPR or comparable law applies to you, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. In practice, for almost everyone reading this, the only data we could possibly hold is an email address on the launch list.
Write to privacy@wreckimals.com and we will act on it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection supervisory authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us their email address, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we handle personal data will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
